High-school student Hopper Gibson (Johnny Simmons) is a young and successful athlete who falls under the pressure after a series of bad performances. Hopper receives the help of Dr. Mobley (Paul Giamatti: The Illusionist, TV’s Billions) who brings to light the young man’s issues with Hopper Sr. (Ethan Hawke: The Magniificent Seven, Boyhood), his overbearing and abusive father.
